Isaiah 41:8–12 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The seed of Abraham my friend. 9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called thee from the chief men thereof, And said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: Be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: They shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: They that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. Well to say we are living in strange days would be the understatement of a lifetime I believe....Gone are the days of an unbiased media who work hand in hand with most of our tax payer funded politicians who obviously only care about being in power not the people they are supposed to represent; But as a reminder with all the goings on in the Middle East and activity seems to be ramping up especially given the invasion that took place on October 6- the reminder is that God is on the side of Israel....Yes the same Jehovah God who sent His Son into the world only to be taken out of the world by, you guessed it, people from Israel....this was all prophesied well before it happened and we have documented in Revelation that Israel [and only God knows who and what that exactly means, but we can't guess] will eventually be saved through the Great Tribulation....and it doesn't matter what you think or believe about the End Times etc....what matters is that we KNOW God is on the side of Israel and to be on any other side is to be against God....that is a position we don't want to find ourselves in....read the above...just one passage of many I could have chosen but this one says one day God's enemies [who are Israel's enemies] will be as nothing....Sunday morning I quoted [as I often do] from 2 Timothy 3:12–13 (KJV 1900) — 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
In my own lifetime I've seen our country go from being very pro judaeo Christian values to the point where it would almost seem the majority are apathetic to the rampant immorality around us....going on in this country while we sit in our easy chairs and enjoy coffee etc.... God has blessed this nation....and we Christians should remember those 2 verses in 2 Timothy I pasted above....evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse....that Greek work would not be translated wax today ... but it means to be driven forward...to increase even as by force.....you see....immorality and the rejection of God's precepts [no 10 commandments in schools??? What could that possibly hurt I often wonder] it would seem has the effect of forcing God's hand to judgment....and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see what's going on in this country that God is in the process of judging us and quite frankly we deserve it.....Nehemiah prayed for his nation and it started a revival .... we should do the same...pray with me for our churches and politicians etc our neighbors and friends....one man [Nehemiah] made a huge difference and you can too! God bless your day
