A Mothers Devotion

So sorry I haven't posted anything on here in a while....I've been busy collecting and putting audio in the sermons section which I hope that you take advantage of.....our Revival last week was awesome! I put Brother JW Haire's sermons on the home page if you'd like to listen.....he's 80 years old and still going strong! 

I'd like to give a devotion for Mothers this morning: 

Proverbs 31:10–11(KJV 1900) — 10 Who can find a virtuous woman?For her price is far above rubies.11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,So that he shall have no need of spoil.

Proverbs 14:1(KJV 1900) -- 1Every wise woman buildeth her house:But the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
God gives this message to women….because God knows the importance of the womans role in the home and family

#1 reason for divorce is finance related…..there have been both men and women who have destroyed their homes with what the Bible would call riotous living….
 
that would involve Caring for yourself and not your household….so when the Bible talks about building your house, it's important again to not God is addressing the woman.....not in the sense that she is to be a slave to the household, but in the sense that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.....God gave women a special place within the family unit! 

She buildeth her house…..We’re not talking about taking a hammer and nails here, we’re talking about continuing to make it better…..how can a Mom build up her house if she doesn’t have a lot of money to spend? 
 
If you are asking that question, then You totally missed the point of the passage…..you make the home better with love and joy….things that should come natural for Gods people AMEN! Things that should come natural for Moms! 
 
We’ve gotten away from the spiritual and navigated towards the carnal….People actually believe they can’t be happy if they don’t have this or that….most this’s or that’s are a waste of time and money AMEN! 
 
Love, and in specific, the love of Christ, is something to build your house around! 
 
If you have a family, that is a glory …. God has given you something a lot of people don’t have! 
 
Moms, most of the time you are the glue that holds the whole family together, and you know that is true.....You keep it together with the love and joy of God
 
The joy of the Lord is my strength the Bible says....please be FULL of strength.....your home needs that in times such as this....I hope and pray you all have a blessed day.....And I pray all Moms have a wonderful Mothers Day EVERY DAY!
